Should be based on a solid understanding of course materials and scientific data and theories. Your evaluation of existing data, theories debates. Should not be a simple summary of a book, paper,etc. Define the topic of the paper (the problem you address). Explain why it is tied to the theme of the course ( genetic data, evolutionary processes, primate studies, paleoanthropology, cultural anthropology). Should have these three sections, each with its own heading (introduction, material, concluding statement. Should also contain a Bibliography.
