In this Term Paper (written in MicroSoft Word or LibreOffice) , you will write a “Research Proposal” by citing at least 6 papers (including the 3 papers shown in the example template document listed below, plus the three papers found by you to be related) , and these citations (i.e., cited papers) need to be inserted to the related place of specific paragraph in your document via “Zotero Reference Manager” (which have been covered by this course so far). The materials and methodology part of this research proposal (section III described below) should be about how you will use “All of Us Researcher Workbench” (as shown in the link below) to analyze your data related to this proposal. This research proposal needs to have the following 4 sections: (note: each section should have at least 1 page, and the whole document needs to have at least 5 pages)
I. Introduction
II. Literature Review
III. Planned Materials and Methodology to be utilized in “All of Us Researcher Workbench”: [Note: please make sure you cover cohorts, datasets(concepts), and tools (analyses; just describe briefly in your own words how you will analyze) to be used in “All of Us Researcher Workbench”]
IV. References (Bibliography)
Please refer to the attached “Research Proposal” example in the link below and use it as the template to write your Research Proposal for this assignment (just replace the “x” areas with your real proposal contents). Note: For the cited papers to be included in the “References (Bibliography)” section of this research proposal document, you should have cited at least 6 papers which contain those 3 papers as shown below (Note: you might need to remove those 3 citations for referenced papers and the bibliography [the parts under “IV. References” section] in the downloaded example template file above, then redo those 3 citations and the Bibliography since the example template file was created in my device while talking to my local Zotero app) . That is, you need to find at least 3 more papers of interest by yourself (via PubMed Central for example to send the papers to your Zotero account in the Web [cloud] which then can sync the papers to your local Zotero app which can insert the cited papers to the Word) to be cited in the document. Also, remember to click “Zotero” tab in the top menu of “Word”, then click “Document Preferences” to choose the Citation Style “Chicago Manual of Style 17th edition (author-date)” as seen in the snapshot below. (Note: the snapshot below was based on Zotero 7; if you use Zotero 6, the screen should be similar, but may not be exactly the same). After you finish the proposal document, just submit it to this assignment. Don’t forget to create list of Bibliography once only under the “IV. References” section.
