Create a five-six minute speech that commemorates an occasion (perhaps the end of the semester or the completion of the course). Your speech should acknowledge triumphs and achievements – group, individual, personal – throughout the semester stressing how the audience (your classmates) enabled growth as a public speaker. OR you create an occasion of your own outside of our class but that will be obvious to your audience.
Shout-outs are strongly encouraged! Be creative! Use presentation aids!
