After completing the semester, you should have a better idea of an EHS area that interests you. Working with the instructor, a mentor, or the Cuyamaca College Career Center, you will create a resume that can be used to obtain an EHS position. If you are currently in another major, you are still encouraged to complete a resume in the area you prefer to work in.To begin the assignment, you will find a position you want on indeed or another job posting site. The position should be attainable and realistic but is not required to be in the region. Save a copy of the position to turn in with your resume.
You will write a resume as if you are applying for the job. Include all of your relevant experience, education, and other abilities which may apply to the skills required for the job.
Grading and comments will be provided by the instructor, Career Center, and/or industry professionals volunteering their time to review your resume.
Submission details:The resume should be professional, without typos, and clearly describes your skills and why you would be the best candidate for the job.
Personal information should not be included in this assignment, only your name is sufficient. Exclude your home address and phone number.
