Describe yourself as a character in a novel. You determine the scene/setting (for example, you among friends or family enjoying something together, you among other SJU students working on a project, you responding to a difficult/challenging situation, you doing something you enjoy etc. Describe yourself in that specific setting: your usual gestures, postures, style of dressing, revealing habits, characteristic phrases, the ways you are with others in that scene/setting. Let those details reveal your personality. Write in the third person (he/she/they) as though you are an author–separate from yourself –and observing yourself. Write it for a wider readership– not as one student for one professor. You are not asked to reference any material on the module. This is a creative-reflective exercise. Do not explain to me how you are going to write about yourself. Just be that author that you imagine yourself to be. At least two well-thought-out paragraphs! More is fine. I would certainly enjoy it.
