HEAL8160 WEEK 9 – YOU MUST BE PRESENT IN PERSON FOR YOUR TOPIC/ARTICLE TO BE APPROVED – ATTENDANCE WILL BE TAKEN
STARTING A NEW THREAD – Please outline the following information in your post as it relates to the Assignment #1:
1) Identify if you are working as an individual or in a pair. If working in a pair, list Full Name(s) and Student ID
2) Choose Issues in Leadership topic. Topic will need to be approved by Instructor before you can move forward with this assignment.
3) Research two recent articles (no more than 8 years old) relevant to the chosen topic in order to develop a 15-minute presentation. (Additional research and course materials can be used to develop your overall findings, and the quality of your presentation as it relates to course concepts).
4) The article must be a research study that includes the following categories: 1. The purpose of the research; 2. Research question/s; 3. Findings and relevant data; 4. Any recommendations and; 5. The importance to leadership. 5) No duplicate articles may be submitted. Submit the PDF version of your article. This will ensure variety in the content that’s being delivered through the in-class presentations.
6) Article does not necessarily need to be North American (there are other parts of the world doing amazing things in healthcare), but must be relevant to current leadership issues in today’s healthcare climate; a post pandemic world.
7) Indicate in this post if you have a desire to one of the first individuals/pairs to present. Once everyone in class has had their topic and article approved, a randomly generated order for the presentations will be publicly posted on Conestoga. Presentations will be delivered in-class. Please be prepared to bring your PPT slide deck on a USB drive or external hard drive, in the event that IT internet connectivity is not reliable on the date of your presentation. You must start a thread before you can read and reply to other threads
