Phase 4. Reflection/Documentation
Students are required to document the entire process of the curriculum project. In documentation, students are required to include how the entire curriculum project has been communicated to the children, teachers, families, and school. Students must document, evaluate, and reflect on the activities that were implemented.
Using the provided reflection/evaluation form, students will:
Reflect on (and document in writing), how the activity planning and implementation process allowed them to promote positive outcomes for each child. (NAEYC Standard 4d).
Provide narrative descriptions of their reflection of how activity implementation went, along with work samples, pictures, videos, and any other audio/visual materials/documentation available. (NAEYC Standard 3d).
Reflect on (and document in writing), ways in which they upheld ethical standards and other early childhood professional guidelines in the entire observation/planning/implementation cycle. (NAEYC Standard 6b).
Provide documentation and evidence of how families were included in the planning, implementation and/or documentation process. (NAEYC Standard 2b).
