Guidelines:
You are to create a historiography of a particular historical person, event, or concept based on the information from one of the chapters from Thinking Through the Past, Volume I (customer here, i am going to attach screenshots of the topics in each chapter so you can choose one since you dont have the textbook). The objective is to examine how academia or scholarship traditional viewed said topic and how those attitudes, understanding, and beliefs have changed over the past 100 years. INSTRUCTIONS:
Select a chapter from the Textbook, Thinking Through the Past, Volume I. Summary the findings and discussion of that Chapter. Find 5 scholarly, academic secondary sources that are related to the topic and develop a historiographical discussion. You need to find five reputable, peer-reviewed sources and analyze and discuss how each source compliments or contrast with one another.
Requirements:
Minimum Word Count: Roughly 1000 words or 3.5 pages (It is perfectly fine to provide more information) In roughly Four pages ( It is okay to Provide More), double-spaced,
12-point font, preferably Times New Roman. (That does not include your Name, header, or Bibliography)
Should include proper Footnotes and Bibliographical citations using Chicago writing style

Do NOT use first person personal pronouns (I, me, my) or contractions (it’s, don’t, didn’t).
Introduction:
Introduce the general topic that you have selected
Layout the design of the paper
Briefly discuss/ outline the historiography of the Topic
Body: Present your research Examine and analyze the sources that you have collected
Discuss your findings based on the sources you have collected
Analyze your sources
Summarize your findings
Provide historical context (Remember to do not use I)
Conclusion:
Draw a conclusion based on your research. How do your sources compare the material from the textbook (customer here, if you need me to take more screenshots of whatever topic you chose from the text book then just message me and I will send some to you asap)
Discuss your sources and how you used them. (Use impersonal responses)
Was there anything that you had to omit or compromised in your presentation? Bibliography
Compile all your sources together You should have a minimum total of 5 academic, scholarly sources
Do Not list, use, or cite tertiary sources or unverifiable sources.
Sources like: Wikipedia, Khan Academy, History.com, Encyclopedia Britannica, are NOT acceptable sources.
