You must answer the following questions in your body paragraphs and organize your paper accordingly.
1. Why are people fascinated with urban legends in general?
2. What is your urban legend, and where did your urban legend originate from?
a. Provide a brief background.
b. How did your urban legend spread and become so well known to that region, state, country, etc.?
3. Provide two eyewitness accounts and what they saw, heard, etc. to support this paragraph.
a. What did the believers have to say about the urban legend?
4. What did the skeptics have to say about the urban legend?
a. What are their reasonings for not believing?
5. How did the urban legend affect a group of people? For instance, some urban legends led to more racist/xenophobic/homophobic and other discriminatory rhetoric and/or acts.
a. Did the urban legend change over time? If so, in what ways was it modified, and what was the effect on its audience?
b. Guiding questions:
i. What is the demographic that was impacted the most by this urban legend?
ii. What demographic, if there is one, benefited from spreading this urban legend?
