Option 2: Alternative to Meetings–Choose to Submit Personal Reflection Personal

Option 2: Alternative to Meetings–Choose to Submit Personal Reflection Personal Reflections can be submitted at any time throughout the semester. However, I suggest submitting during the following benchmarks in our class: Week 4, 8 12, and 16. If you feel like writing one outside these weeks, that’s OK! Go ahead and submit it! I suggest the weeks mentioned above because I think it helps spread the reflections out through the semester.
For instructions on what to write about, please expand the section below.
Instructions for Writing Reflections
Write a response (or write me a letter) of 275 words or more that describes how you are feeling and doing at this point in the semester. Here are some questions to ask yourself for this reflection (pick one or ones that you like–you don’t have to cover all of these!):
How are you doing? (In this class and/or in general)
How are you feeling? (About this class and about things in general)
How is your progress in this class?
What have you learned so far? What are some main things you are getting or have gotten from this class?
What are you doing well?
What do you need to work on in order to improve? Or, if we are almost done with the semester, are there any takeaways from this semester that will impact your goals?
What do you need to make success more accessible to you now or in the future?
How can you and I help each other end the semester successfully?
Remember: It’s important to check in with yourself and see how you are doing and identify your needs. I suggest you pick TWO to THREE of the above questions to answer in your reflection.
