INSTRUCTIONS: This is an ‘open book’ assessment with five (5) short answer questions, each valued at 10-points for a total of 50 possible points.
The assessment will be open in Canvas for 5-days and requires a pdf document upload before the deadline. The course textbook (preferred) as well as other academic quality resources is allowed.
Each short answer response will include:
Question number only (1, 2, 3…)
No less than 125-words
Follow MLA format using in-text citations as needed for sourced content from college-level academic sources and include a corresponding Works Cited page. Once complete and thoroughly proofread, upload the pdf document in Canvas through the Turnitin similarity scan. Review the Turnitin similarity report and ensure the score is 25% or less. If the document needs edits, make those adjustments, and re-submit before the deadline.
Note of caution: Turnitin now features an AI Writing Indicator score for an instructor’s review. If a student’s paper reveals non-human written content, expect a hold on the grade pending a mandatory meeting with the instructor.
