Summaries and reflections are two ways to write a review of a scientific journal article. You must first read and understand the article in order to give a detailed summary. The summary involves briefly but accurately stating the key points of the article for a reader who has not read the original article. Second, the reflection involves critically analyzing and evaluating the article. In this section you may critique the article, connect information in the article to other things, and/or give your opinion on the article. Play close attention to the rubric detailing the criteria for grading.
