In my paper, I will discuss the views of relationships and traditional gender roles throughout history; how they’re depicted in myths, and how its influenced our society today.
Your final paper will highlight key aspects of the reading topics covered in the structure of the course. The assignment is to create a valid argument and use the literature from class to support your argument. How can you tie the readings together? What are common themes? How are they applicable to your life or career focus? Think in terms of application and critical thinking.
This is not an opinion piece, so you should not discuss your perspectives, but link them scientifically, using outside sources. You must cite everything that you choose to include, especially class literature. These papers are to demonstrate your absorption and comprehension of the reading material and class discussions, as well as application to our lives and understand why it is necessary to study historical perspectives on social order and what that means for us in our lives. You are to include 3 in-class texts/films, as well as include 3 outside peer-reviewed academic journals as sources.
Incorrect in-text citations.
You must cite anything that is not your own idea, because someone else performed the research to conclude this information. Therefore, at least every paragraph should have a citation, which always includes the author’s last name and page number (McWhorter, 2). Only if there is no author or pages, it should be the agency and page number. Only if there is no page number, you should provide the year (World Bank, 2014).
Incorrect citations in bibliography.
Citations should include the following: author, article title, journal title, year, pages, volume number, issue number, and page range of article. This does not include random websites or news sources. Citations must be properly formatted via either MLA, APA, or Chicago formatting style; in-text citations must be as listed above. Points will be deducted for incomplete citations. Do not depend on a formatting system to correctly provide the citation. Do not double space bibliography/works cited.
Incorrect formatting.
Microsoft Word document, 6 full pages, double-spaced, Times New Roman, font size 12, one-inch margins, and include a TITLE PAGE and a BIBLIOGRAPHY, which are not included in the page count. No direct quotations, no headers, no footers. No spacing between paragraphs: line spacing before 0pt, line spacing after 0pt, Line spacing-double. Do not double space bibliography/works cited. If I have to reformat your paper in any of these ways, 5 points will be deducted.
