For the presentations. write a gist. Reflection – Identify one or two new things you learned (or still need to spend more time learning about) and why these concepts really stood out for you. Then provide a bullet point that reflects upon your learning experience. Example reflection points may include: What have I achieved with respect to learning this week? What progress have I made and was it significant and why? Did a theory help explain a personal experience with my own emotions or motivation? What areas of the chapter did I struggle with, why, and how will I work to achieve a better level of understanding? 2. The learning/studying activities you did AND the time you spent on each of them 3. A reflection on the course material. Summarizing the textbook or stating a topic was interesting in not sufficient. If you are tempted to do this, consider reflecting on WHY it was interesting or important to learn, or how it relates to your life, other concepts, and experiences outside the course. 4. A reflection on the learning/study strategies you use each week. This could include things like what worked well for you (and why), what did not work (and why), or what you may wish to change or improve.
