The Final Paper must incorporate sources and information gleaned throughout the class: Annotated Bibliography, the Survey Questionnaire, Case Studies, Article Reviews, principles, concepts, and theories discussed in the text, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), and other additional sources encountered during research.
For this assignment, students are required to submit a rough publish of their final paper.  This submission will be the basis of the final paper.  Feedback from the instructor must be incorporated into the final paper.  Submissions must be made as Microsoft Word documents, formatted in APA style (please also see School of Business Writing Manual).
There are no length requirements for the rough publish.  However, as a ‘rough publish,’ the closer it is to the length (and quality) of the final paper, the more representative it will be of what is expected (please also see grading rubric); and indeed, the easier it will be for students to complete the assignment for the final paper.
Furthermore, although the rough publish is not expected to be as polished as the final paper, it (the rough publish) should be representative of the final paper such that it has the main sections, the executive summary, the main arguments, most of the outside sources, the overarching conclusions, recommendations, and point of view, etc. Please use the appropriate APA headings to organize your paper.
Additionally, students are reminded that the final paper must incorporate sources and information gleaned throughout the class: Annotated Bibliography, Survey, Case Studies, Article Reviews, principles, concepts, and theories discussed in the text, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), and possibly other outside sources encountered during your research.
Students are also reminded that the final paper is a practical document about doing business in a foreign country, written from the perspective of “What a firm needs to know and what it needs to do” in order to conduct business in a foreign country in a legal and an ethically responsible manner while pursuing business goals. In terms of grading, greater weight will be placed on the final paper.
