Students will complete a research paper that will follow all requirements of APA

Students will complete a research paper that will follow all requirements of APA formatting. The paper should be no less than four and no more than six pages of content. The paper should reference a minimum of three peer-reviewed in addition to the textbook. The content of the research paper will be a brief overview of any theory of psychotherapy or counseling covered in the course. The paper should include the history of the theory, the central tenets or core concepts of the theory, the typical approach of the theory to addressing client concerns, and a critique of the theory’s general effectiveness. The research paper will be evaluated on: adherence to formatting requirements, clarity of thought and written expression, organization of topic areas, and completion of minimum requirements such as page length and number of references.
The therapy I would use is Family Systems Therapy.
