For each citation list three to four elements of this article that help you identify it as a qualitative or quantitative piece of research (consider the problem/question, methods chosen, data presented, reasoning).
Reference page
Full reference for the article reviewed at a minimum. May include other supporting articles if citing others’ work.
Credibility (approximately 1 page; 15 marks):
Brief introductory paragraph- what is the focus of the Include the in-text citation in your opening paragraph with a hyperlink to the library permalink (check with the library or instructor if you don’t know how to find the permalink). The full reference should appear on the reference page.
Credibility/Believability- appraise the author, source issues and presence/absence of bias that may make it more/less credible
Scholarly and Significant- what suggests it is/isn’t written in a scholarly manner and whether or not it is a significant issue worth studying
Ethics – has it received ethics approval, are there ethical issues that may not have been addressed adequately (e.g. respect for persons, concern for welfare, justice)
Concluding statements- discuss your conclusion as to how credible you find this article and main rationale.
Integrity (3-4 pages; 60 marks)- comments on strengths and concerns in the following:

Summary (10 marks)
Trustworthiness and application, referencing back to the article, course module material or readings in order to highlight your conclusion and rationale. The summary should include a final conclusion for the article as to the trustworthiness of the article- are the credibility AND integrity sufficient for you to trust the findings – why/why not? Could the findings be applied in other settings?
