1. What was the purpose or objective of the study? Is the purpose clearly stated?
2. Does all the information in the introduction lead to the purpose of the study?
3. What assessments did the author use?
4. Discuss how the author addressed reliability and validity of the testing measurements.
5. What were the results of the study?
6. Do you find any errors of fact and interpretation? (Did the author(s) misrepresent or misinterpret the work of others?) Provide specific examples.
7. Should some sections of the article be expanded, condensed or omitted? Provide specific examples.
8. How did the author(s) use pertinent literature to backup main points?
The paper needs to synthesize the information rather than written as question and answer. The above questions are a guide to help stimulate a critical analysis of the article. The paper needs to reflect a careful evaluation of the article by using objective language. First person (I, we, me, you, us) is not permitted.
The paper will be 2-3 pages, will follow APA format, which includes, but not limited to, double-title page, double-space, one-inch margins, Times New Roman, and no contractions.
