Choose a company you are very passionate about! (don’t pick Tesla). Research the executive’s pay and answer the following questions using specifics.
1) Name the executive, company, and their title.
2) What is the executive’s pay? Base, variable pay, stock options, benefits, retirement, bonus, time off, etc. List all levels of pay this executive is receiving. I am looking for details and specifics, you need to have a minimum of five different items.
3) What is the pay ratio in comparison to the average worker of the company? What does this tell you? What are some reasons, both positive and negative, for this difference?
4) How does the pay compare to other executives in the same/similar industry? Compare to at least three others, and specify who they are, who they work for, and what their pay is.
5) Do you feel their compensation is fair or unfair? Why? “Yes, it is fair because they deserve it” is not enough. I am looking for specifics and details from the book and class to understand your thought process.
List your 5 credible sources on the second page, in APA style
