Written review must contain:
1. Summary of article to include your personal reaction to the article.
2. Reference and citations (APA Format)
a. Author (last name first), “Article Title.” Name of journal. Volume number, (Date): page numbers.
b. EXAMPLE: Jordan, Jennifer, “Filming at the Top of the World.” Museum of Science Magazine. Volume 47, No. 1, (Winter 1998): p. 11
3. Written review must be typed, 2 full pages, double spaced,
Times New Roman, 12 fonts.
4. Include your personal reaction to the article. It should be more than a statement of whether or not you liked the article. Support your opinion. Below are some items to think about as you write your reaction.
a. What interested you in the article?
b. Did you agree/disagree with the issues or ideas presented and why or how?
c. What did you learn from the article? Did it change your mind about or confirm what you already knew about the topic?
d. Is the information in the article something you would implement in your patient treatment? Why? Why not?
e. What is the relevance of this information to the clinical practice of dental hygiene?
f. What are your suggestions as to how this information could be incorporated into patient care?
