The Purple Cow marketing strategy refers to creating a product or service that is unique, remarkable, and interesting, that makes people want to talk about it. The best way to start a business is to create an outstanding idea and release it into a niche (MentalEFit Book Club, 2020). To start selling T-shirts online, for example, it’s important to specify why these T-shirts are special and different from the rest. One idea is selling customizable T-shirts related to animated characters. The T-shirts will offer a variety of fun and colorful designs and will guarantee to donate 95% of the profits to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. To start promoting this business at a low cost, social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook should be the first step in growing the brand online. It is as simple as inviting known people, family, and friends to follow the account. Once they try these distinctive T-shirts, they will most likely talk about it and invite other friends to do the same. A popular website that can be used to sell the T-shirts is Etsy. Once clients and profits start to increase, it would be wise to invest in a blog or website to promote and continue selling this new brand.
