As a professional pilot, or pilot in general, it is important to “have all available information” regarding your flight plan. While this is a no-brainer for weather, NOTAM’s, airport information and so on, updates to regulations and the aviation industry in general are often times overlooked. This purpose of this research paper is to get you in the habit of gathering information related to your piloting and profession that may otherwise go unrealized. By doing so, you are making yourself a better and safer pilot and the more current you are, the more credibility you will have with your peers and within the industry.
For the research paper, the guidelines are:
1. Two (2) pages of content (meaning headers, pictures, footnotes, clever spacing, and so on does not count) on any topic or multiple topics within the aviation industry that related to legal or regulatory matters (MUST BE A RECENT EVENT). This can be historical, current, interesting, futuristic, or whatever peeks your interest.
2. Times New Roman (12) point font. Single space. Regular margins.
