The purpose of this culminating final paper is to come full circle with the intersection of instructional plan design and professional development. More specifically, you will finalize your comprehensive instructional plan and create a professional development handout that will provide instruction on how instructors could use it to provide differentiated instruction. Note: You do not need to create a new instructional plan; you are only finalizing the instructional plan you have been working on throughout the course.

Prepare:
As some of your previous work will be included in this assignment, please review your instructor’s feedback on all discussions and assignments from Weeks 1 through 5. Read the summative comments for all discussions and assignments. Often instructors will also leave embedded comments directly in your assignment within Waypoint. If you are unsure of how to access feedback within Waypoint, review Accessing Waypoint Feedback in your online classroom. As you work through each component of this assignment, make any corrections or revisions recommended by your instructor.
Scenario Instructions:
You have been invited by your leadership to create a handout to present at a professional development meeting for your fellow employees. You are to use the handout to introduce your finalized instructional plan and demonstrate how it can be used to implement differentiated instruction.
Part 1: Instructional Plan (six to seven pages)

Revise the authentic assessment based on the feedback received during Weeks 1 to 5 of this course.
Revise the rubric based on the feedback received during Weeks 1 to 5 of this coursePart 2: Handout (three to four pages)
Once you have revised your instructional plan, create a handout that will provide instruction for your fellow employees on how to implement an instructional plan for the purpose of incorporating differentiated instruction. More specifically, create a handout that introduces your finalized Instructional Plan Template and how it supports differentiated instruction based on the audience and instructional setting you chose in Week 1. The handout must include the following components: Audience and Rationale (one paragraph) Describe the participants of your professional development session.Who is your target audience? This could be your current instructional setting, and if you are not currently working as an instructor, it could be your desired instructional setting. You can consider instructional settings from pre-K, elementary, middle, secondary, military, or corporate.
Instructional Plan (four to five paragraphs) Describe the process of creating an instructional plan. Be sure to include a description of the following components of the process:Determining the “big idea”
Determining the specific objective(s)
Researching the topic as defined by the objective
Deciding on how to interest learners using a hook
Selecting the appropriate instructional method
Deciding on how to organize the lesson
Choosing the appropriate support material
Preparing the beginning and ending of the lesson
Creating the authentic assessment
Creating a rubric.
