Recognizing that every nation has the right to implement its own rules to protect its people from digital platforms,
Emphasizing that digital surveillance in countering threats to public safety and political stability,
Expressing concern about the lack of global regulations of how digital platforms are managed,
Spreading awareness of the dangers of online platforms being used to spread misinformation, extremism content, and criminal activities, which necessitate stronger monitoring measures,
Desiring to balance security needs with the protection of individual privacy and free speech, in line with Resolution 67/167 and international human rights instruments,
